Abstract
Current workflow systems support business specialists only in the modelling and execution of business processes but not in the creation or modification of applications used in activities. By modelling applications in activities similar to workflows, specialists without or with low programming skill can create business functions of a business process and adapt these to changing market situations by themselves. Thus, the principle of selforganizing users can be realized.
