Abstract

The following notes are intended as a quick reference guide to profiling techniques which compete with, or complement, CO2 laser cutting. The subject of cutting covers an enormous range, much of which is not relevant to our present discussion. The following sections will describe various features of some of the main industrial profiling techniques which can be accurately controlled by CNC methods.
