Erectile and Ejaculatory Problems in Infertility

  • Chapter
Male Infertility

Abstract

Erectile or ejaculatory dysfunction are uncommon but important causes of infertility as they may be treated successfully. The detailed management of organic impotence has received much attention in the past decade and there has also been an increase in the availability of psychosexual counselling for sexual problems. Psychological problems of coitus are seldom severe enough to prevent conception and some physicians would question the advisability of parenthood in such couples. This chapter attempts to review those aspects of erectile and ejaculatory dysfunction that are relevant to the management of infertile couples.
