Abstract

An intrinsic subprogram is a predefined subprogram supplied by the Fortran processor. A standard-conforming Fortran processor must include at least the intrinsic functions and subroutines described in this chapter. Even if a Fortran processor supplies more intrinsic subprograms, a standard-conforming program must not make use of these additional intrinsic subprograms.
