Abstract

NETTLESHIP-FALLS syndrome, or Ocular Albinism type I, is characterized by nystagmus, visual impairment and depigmentation of the retina. The condition is X-linked and female heterozygotes have patchy changes in the fundus of the eye (see Nettleship, p. 119).
