Abstract

Clinical guidelines have been proposed as one method by which it may be possible to improve clinical outcome or the processes involved in the provision of care. In this chapter a brief overview of guideline methodology is given before addressing the development and implementation of leg ulcer guidelines in Scotland by the Scottish Leg Ulcer Project.
