Tools for Complex Fault Trees

  • Chris Price
Part of the Practitioner Series book series (PRACT.SER.)

When the examples of diagnostic systems given in Chapters 1 and 2 were developed, they were first drawn on paper as diagnostic fault trees and then implemented in an expert systems language. The implementation phase can be lengthy, and gives the possibility of introducing errors when converting the design for the diagnostic system into a computer program.
