Abstract
Using a telescope can be easy if you can just carry or roll it outside or if it is in a permanent observatory; however, few of us have the advantage of living in an area with a dark and unobstructed night sky. Still more of us may not even have a yard of our own in which to set up a telescope. At one time or another, something near our place of residence will probably prevent us from shooting the astrophotos we want from home. Whether the local problem is a tree, a neighbor’s light, or a city full of lights, some local factor is bound to make travel necessary.
