Abstract
Taking astrophotos is the first step toward getting the final images you want. If you shoot negatives, you will either need to print or scan them in order to adequately see your results. If you shoot slides, you will be able to see your results in your original processed film, but printing them in the way you want may be more difficult. You can do a lot with an image after the film is developed, but this is no substitute for a good original image. The better your original image, the better your final result.
