Abstract
Temperature is the most widely sensed process variable in industry. The same has been discussed in detail in the last chapter. Pressure, flow and (to some extent) level — perhaps in that order — are the next most-widely sensed process variables. These three relate to fluids. Often same or similar techniques are used to sense and process them. These justify their being clubbed together for discussion here.
