Abstract
The interactor matrix D can be one of the three forms discussed in Chapter 3. If D is of the form: D = q d I, then the transfer function matrix T is regarded as having a simple interactor matrix. This is the simplest form of the interactor matrices. Although it is usually unlikely to encounter a real process with a simple interactor matrix, the result presented in this chapter provides a basis for solutions to processes with diagonal and general interactor matrices that follow later.
