Abstract
Decades ago, the quality of a compan’s goods and services provided differentiation from others in the market, especially in mass-production industries. Organisations benefited from this approach, and used it to compete against other companies in the world market, but this condition no longer holds true; high quality is now a pre-condition of world competitiveness.
