Abstract
The word “sequence” is used in mathematics with much the same meaning as in ordinary Ufe, except that we always mean an infinite sequence. Thus
are sequences. We often write the first of these as (2n) n∈N, or just as (2n); and in the same way we can write the second sequence as (n/(n+1)) n∈N or just as (n/n+1)).
