Abstract
Having established our environment, we are now ready to play and learn about the various features and tools that Flash provides to generate, manipulate and animate our artwork. In this chapter, we will learn more about the Toolbox and focus on the various tools that are available to us. The tools themselves look rather innocent in that they appear similar to other drawing packages. As we start to use them, however, we will soon see that creation and editing is done in a distinctive way — the Flash way. Naturally, early on, the full extent of the features may be difficult to grasp, but with more practice and experimentation, you will no doubt learn to appreciate the unique tools that Flash offers.
