Abstract

The concept that would become Starbase Two (affectionately known as the “Ski Dome”) began forming in my mind soon after the purchase of a 10-inch Newtonian equatorial telescope. It quickly proved to be a tiresome cycle of tearing down and setting up equipment in my backyard.
