Abstract

In this chapter, we attempt to highlight the importance of viewing the child’s responses to trauma within the context of family relationships and family-school relationships. To clarify children’s needs and design effective school-based interventions with families, intervention planners must understand the multiplicity of relationships and the complex interpersonal processes that mediate children’s adjustment.
