Frequency offset locking of 35 mW 657nm visible laser diodes

Abstract

Frequency of a 35 mW visible laser diode has been offset locked to another35mW frequency stabilized laser diode by using delay-line microwave discriminator. The linewidth of the heterodyne beat spectrum has been estimated to be about 1 MHz under the offset locking condition.
