OPO in transverse degenerate cavities: multimode operation and spatial quantum effects

Abstract

Simultaneous OPOs oscillation on different transverse modes can be a source of spatial quantum correlation and local squeezing. We have experimentally shown such multitransverse mode operation, a preliminary condition for observation of spatial quantum effects.
