Abstract
Today, computer networks have become an inseparable component of daily computing. Companies as well as individuals are constantly demanding faster, more reliable, and easier-to-use network computing. To cope with increased demand and expectation, data are often replicated at different network locations so they are as close to clients as possible to improve access latency. Examples of replication include web caching, content distribution networks, and distributed database.
