Abstract

Materials. The protease inhibitors phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride, benzamidine, and leupeptin were obtained from Sigma. Acetonitrile (high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) grade) was obtained from Merck (Germany). Trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) (sequence grade) was from Knauer (Germany). Water was subjected to deionization using the Milli Q System (Millipore). All other chemicals used were of analytical grade.
