Abstract
Videourodynamics with abdominal leak point pressure (ALPP) is the gold standard for diagnosing female stress urinary incontinence. Female stress urinary incontinence is broadly subdivided into urethral hypermobility, genuine stress incontinence, and intrinsic sphincter deficiency (Types I, II, and III stress incontinence, respectively). McGuire reported that abdominal leak point pressures allow accurate diagnosis of Type I, II, and III stress urinary incontinence.3,4,8 Type I stress incontinence is defined as urinary leakage coincident with ALPP greater than 120 cm H20, while Type II stress incontinence is urinary leakage associated with ALPP ranging from 65 to 120 cm H2O, and Type III stress incontinence is urinary leakage associated with ALPP ranging from 0 to 65 cm H2O.3,4,8
