Abstract

Z pinches and tungsten wire arrays, compressing under action of current, are widely studied in ICF nowadays1,2,3. The wires have typical diameter 5–10 microns. Duration of output soft x-ray emission about 5–10ns. Spatial distribution of mass inside current — driven array during implosion has crucial importance for process of array implosion.
