Abstract
On the former lakeshore about halfway between Henauhof Nordwest and Henauhof West lies yet a third site, Henauhof Nordwest 2 This site was discovered by test trenches placed along the old shoreline and appears to be quite separate from Henauhof NW on the basis of numerous sterile trenches lying between the two. A total of 72 square meters was excavated in 1991 and the sediments water-screened through 3 mm mesh.
