Abstract
We call a geometry a t - (v, k, λ) design if it contains v points, if every line, or block, contains k points, and if given any t distinct points, there are exactly λ blocks containing them. A 2 - (v, k, λ) design is called symmetric if the number of blocks equals the number of points in the design. The dual of a symmetric design is also a symmetric design with the same parameters.
