Abstract
The process of composing Web services is far from trivial [7, 148]. To sup- port users (or composers) in this eĀ®ort, composition engines are being developed. Composition engines provide abstractions and mechanisms facilitating the denition and execution of composite services. They include mechanisms dealing with several issues such as orchestration, service matching, and com- posability [123]. This chapter focuses on service matching.
