Abstract
The following methods rely on the specific recognition of ligands by a protein. Although they are described here (as in most other textbooks) for antibody-antigen interaction, you should keep in mind that they can also be used for other specific interactions, like ligand-receptor. [146] should be consulted first for experimental details, despite its considerable age.
