Establishing a Health Policy Strategy at the Association Level

Chapter

Abstract

There is no more important role of an association or membership organization than advocacy for the advancement of the profession, its members, and patients. Just like knowledge and practice are not static, so health policy is constantly evolving, and membership organizations hold great potential to advocate in a positive way for their members and the people they serve professionally.
