Abstract
What of the future for professional and amateur astronomers whose interest lies in asteroids and dwarf planets? Will the latter still be so named, and will the International Astronomical Union (IAU) come up with something that trips off the tongue a little easier than Small Solar System Bodies to describe asteroids and comets?
