Abstract
In this chapter we will: Define astrometry and its uses. Describe what you need to perform accurate astrometric measurements (to better than 1 arcsec). Say how you can obtain an Observatory Code from the Minor Planet Center (MPC), which qualifies you to submit astrometry to that organization. Explain the art of tracking and stacking (to find faint and/or fast moving asteroids).
