Abstract

The responses to several PTPV stimulus sets have been obtained with the Groningen NL-time domain model. In most cases we analyzed passive rather than active models because negative damping supposedly would effect the behavior at low stimulus levels only. A nonlinear damping change in the approx. 40 – 60 dB (SPL) interval is present in the NL model versions, however, as demonstrated in Fig. 5.11, and also can be interpreted as “active behavior”.
