Realistic Random Direction Mobility

  • Chapter
  • First Online:

Abstract

The analytical model of the realistic random direction mobility model is described along with location-dependent parameterization . In addition, the modified random direction model is explained. The description how different mobility parameters of both RMD and MRD can be tuned to obtain the optimal performance based on real world of the MANET is provided. The results are presented comparing performances of RDM, MRD, and RWP mobility model.
