Abstract
During the years that the LX200GPS (and associated) series ‘scopes have been marketed, a variety of accessories have been designed and manufactured by a number of well-known suppliers, including Meade. It seems that in previous years, suppliers made more profit from selling accessories for Meade ‘scopes than they did from selling the actual ‘scopes! Figure 3.1 shows a telescope fitted with some of those accessories that are important. Each is discussed in this chapter, along with other useful items, although the detailed applications and benefits are described in specific chapters. Remember, buying the ‘scope may just be the start!
