Dysembryoplastic Neuroepithelial Tumor

Abstract

Superficial cortical, benign glioneuronal neoplasms, WHO grade I, often associated with the long-standing history of refractory partial complex seizures. Characteristically uninodular or multinodular lesions accompanied by cortical dysplasia. Represents 12 and 13.5% of histologic findings in adults and children, respectively, receiving epileptic surgery.
