Abstract
“Using corporate learning to drive a company’s culture and strategy is a top issue,” says Integrated Service Solutions (ISS) CEO Jorgen Lindegaard. ISS is one of the world's largest commercial providers of facility services. Headquartered in Denmark, the company has operations in 50 countries in Europe, Asia, North America, South America and Australia. ISS created its corporate university in 2001 as a way to spread the corporate culture to its far-flung workforce (Corporate 2008). However, the manner in which organizations like ISS accomplish this strategic goal of aligning learning to the needs of the company will need to evolve as the needs of the workforce change over time.
