Abstract
Over the past 10 years, a radical transformation processes is at work, in terms of converging industry boundaries and change rates in global-scale markets and industries, and increasing customer influence (Ghoshal and Bartlett 1997; Cusumano 2001).
The main forces that have determined this transformation process may be identified in (Marquardt 2002; Baets and Linden 2003)
