Abstract
When you are loading data into R, you have a number of options. For external files, there are several functions that read specific kinds of files or data. R also comes with a number of data sets that can be loaded. Sometimes the user wants to create data. R has a multitude of random number generators for data creation. Data can be entered manually using c() or by using various other functions to create data with certain patterns.
