Abstract

WordPress has grown enormously in the last few years, going from the most popular blogging software to the most popular web-based software, period. At 2012’s Signal Conference, it was estimated that WordPress powered 16% of the entire web ( http://sleary.me/wp1 ). A study by the Royal Pingdom blog showed that of the top 100 sites on the web, nearly half of them ran on WordPress ( http://sleary.me/wp2 ).
