Abstract
In this last chapter on Flatpack Records we’re going to look at the new capability in Macromedia Flash MX to dynamically load MP3 files. In previous versions of Flash, if you wanted to play an MP3 within the SWF you had use one of two methods:
-
Import the files to the main FLA prior to publishing (thereby dramatically increasing the final SWF’s size).
-
Make separate movies containing the MP3 and then use ActionScript to call the SWFs into the main movie.
