Abstract

In this chapter we’ll be considering the various techniques that we can use to get feedback on our movies during the design and development stages. Initially, we’ll concentrate more on quick and dirty debugging techniques — we’ll look at how to get instant feedback during testing, and how to review and check properties on the fly. Then, in the latter half of this chapter, we’ll turn our attention to debugging scripts specifically through the use of the Flash MX Debugger tool. We’ll highlight the programmatic debugging techniques for the various different types of scripted Flash movies.
