Abstract

We’re going to spend this opening chapter getting ready to work with Macromedia Flash MX and Microsoft’s.NET Framework. Before we can start building applications, we need to make sure they’re both installed, and that they have some way to talk to each other. If you don’t have access to expensive development tools like Visual Studio.NET (and we’re assuming you don’t) then the simplest way to communicate with.NET is over the Web.
