Abstract
Image restoration and retouching are two huge parts of the computer graphics industry. While it might seem that they are the same thing, they are actually very different from each other — as I hope will be clear from the tips in this chapter. I’ve started by running through simple changes you can make, mainly using the Quick Fix options that Elements offers — these are fast, but lack a degree of control. The later tips on restoration and retouching require you to put in a little more effort, but not much!
