Abstract
As reiterated throughout this book, the guiding principle of due diligence is seeking to confirm the story about the business as told by the company that is the target of the investigation. Each of the chapters has shown a progression of steps during the course of preparing and conducting the due diligence questionnaire, and then using the information learned from the due diligence investigation to prove or disprove elements of the company’s story.
