Abstract
With Windows 8, Microsoft introduced the concept of charms. Charms provide a uniform way to do tasks that are found throughout the majority of applications, such as searching and settings. In this era of sharing all possible sorts of content on a wide variety of social networks, Microsoft decided to throw in a Share charm as well. The charms can be found by placing the mouse in the upper right corner of the screen or on a touch-enabled device by dragging in from the right edge of the screen.
