Abstract
One of the wonderful things about Android is that there are so many devices that run it. From phones to tablets, to televisions to cameras to treadmills, Android is hugely popular as the software platform for all kinds of electronic devices. This can also be a huge challenge for the application developer. The differences between devices can be numerous, from different sizes of screens to different screen densities, from different hardware features to different versions of Android. Dealing with all these differences gracefully is possible, and perhaps easier than you would imagine.
