Abstract
Map Kit allows you to display objects of different types on the map. You can represent annotations, which are points to which an icon and a balloon are associated (elements that in the Google Maps JavaScript API were called marker and info window) and overlays, which are objects defined by several coordinates, such as lines and polygons. In this chapter I show you different methods to create annotations and overlays, and I demonstrate ways to customize them.
