Abstract

Nicholas Allard became the dean of Brooklyn Law School in July 2012 and remains a senior partner at Patton Boggs, the largest lobbing firm in the country. The firm reported lobbying billings of $48 million in 2011 and gave more than $480,000 in campaign contributions during the 2012 campaign cycle (evenly split between Republicans and Democrats). Patton Boggs’s clients come from almost every area of policy, from oil and finance, to cities and universities, to health and transportation.
