Abstract

For many people, sleeping well at night is far more important than wealth building. Sure, taking on risk may increase your chances of growing your money, but it is not for the faint of heart. For those of you who prefer to stash your savings under the mattress, I suggest you consider ways to keep what you have safe and manage potential risk. This approach won’t land you on the cover of Forbes, but it may bring you peace of mind. And, even if you’re a financial gun-slinging maverick in the early stages of your career, it makes sense to play it safe at times.
