Abstract
Developers working with MOSS 2007 as well as WSS 3.0 know some of the shortcomings of these products, as well as Visual Studio 2008 and associated tools, such as SharePoint Designer 2007. Usually, these were complimented by various third-party tools, such as STSDEV, WSPBUILDER, BDC Metaman, and VseWSS. In the current edition of SharePoint and its tools, these shortcomings have been very well addressed with enhancements in Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer 2010.
