Abstract
JavaFX has recently become one of the most popular ways to develop graphical user interfaces for Java applications. JavaFX applications run on the client machine using a local Java Runtime Environment, much like Java Swing applications or Java applets. Users can either fire up a JavaFX application that resides locally on their machine or visit a page that includes an applet, which in turn triggers a JavaFX application to be downloaded to their machine.
