Abstract

In the chapters of this part of the book, I show you the WinJS UI controls. These are an important part of the WinJS UI and they are a useful supplement to the standard HTML elements that I have been using so far in the example apps. Not only do these controls provide a richer experience for users, but they also provide part of the distinctive look and feel of a Metro app.
